Atlantis will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. To commemorate this milestone, a series of community events and activities will be coordinated under the banner called “Celebrate Atlantis”. This website was created and will be dedicated to celebrate the many successes and infinite talent this town has to offer. The website will also promote all the initiatives planned for 2026.
Celebrate Atlantis is a dynamic, multi-platform initiative designed to showcase and honour the rich tapestry of our town's diverse offerings. Through engaging content across social media, digital channels, and community platforms, it aims to bring together the voices, stories, and achievements that make our town unique - from our thriving local businesses and innovative spirit, to the many talented people excelling in their respective fields.
Throughout 2026 and beyond this digital movement aims to create a vibrant, inclusive space where residents, former residents, and visitors can connect, share memories, and discover the many facets that make Atlantis a truly special place to live, work, and grow.
A working group of residents with the necessary expertise will soon be established to manage a range of positive initiatives and celebrations planned throughout 2026. Soon we will share more information on this platform of how YOU could become involved.

About Celebrate Atlantis
Welcome to Celebrate Atlantis – a platform dedicated to celebrating the people, places, stories, achievements and opportunities that make Atlantis unique.
Atlantis celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026. To commemorate this important milestone, the Celebrate Atlantis campaign was created as a programme to celebrate the town’s past, showcase its present and help create opportunities for its future.
The Celebrate Atlantis website is an initiative of Impact Unlimited Media and Communication and Impact News, in partnership with the Atlantis Special Economic Zone Company (ASEZCo). Established as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations, the website is intended to become a central online hub for the community – connecting residents, businesses, organisations, former residents and visitors with the history, people, opportunities and initiatives that make Atlantis unique.
The website will tell the story of Atlantis and celebrate the people, businesses and organisations that have helped shape our community. It will provide a platform to discover events, projects, activities and opportunities associated with the 50th anniversary celebrations, while showcasing the many successes, talents and achievements of our town.

While the 50th anniversary provides the starting point, the vision is for Celebrate Atlantis to become a lasting digital resource – one that continues to celebrate our past, connect our community, unlock opportunities and contribute to the future of Atlantis.

Atlantis turns 50: join the task team
Atlantis will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. To commemorate this milestone, a series of community events and activities will be coordinated under the banner called “Celebrate Atlantis”.
As part of this initiative, a small task team needs to be established to guide and coordinate ideas, events and proposals under this banner. This task team will play a central role in ensuring that the anniversary activities are inclusive and community-driven.
The exact scope and responsibilities of the task team will be determined at the first meeting, which will be held at the ASEZ offices in Atlantis in late October or early November.
